Honduras-- More than two thousand workers at the Hugger and Vision Tex factories, former producers of Nike apparel, obtained victory after the multinational company and the Central General Trabajones de Honduras (CGT) announced last July 26 an agreement that will provide US$1.5 million fund for the laid-off workers.

Negros Occidental -- Another labor leader, Benjamin Bayles, 44, was murdered last June 14, 2010 by alleged members of 61st Infantry Batallion Philippines Army.
